Strengths-Based and Trauma-Informed Care

People today are navigating more complexity than ever - and therapy can help you move through it with intention. I work with LGBTQ+ individuals and adults navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and the pressure to ‘figure it all out.’ My clients often face stress, anxiety, depression, low motivation, relationships struggles or self-esteem challenges. I also provide suicide prevention and intervention training to clinical and non-clinical audiences, equipping them to recognize risk and respond with trauma-informed care.

About Me

Who I Am

I’m a Colorado native and a Licensed Professional Counselor with over five years of experience supporting individuals across private practice, community mental health, residential programs, and school settings. These diverse experiences have shaped my belief that every person carries strengths, resilience, and the capacity for meaningful, lasting change.

My Therapeutic Style

Clients often describe me as grounded, compassionate, and practical. I balance warmth with directness—you’ll feel supported, but also gently challenged when it’s helpful.

My approach is person‑centered, trauma‑informed, and rooted in collaboration, transparency, empowerment, and gender‑ and identity‑affirming care. Creating a space where LGBTQ+ clients feel safe, respected, and fully seen is a core value in my work. I also strive to support individuals from other marginalized and underrepresented communities—including people of color, neurodivergent adults, survivors of trauma, and those impacted by systemic inequities. My goal is to offer a therapeutic space where anyone who has felt overlooked, misunderstood, or pressured to “fit in” can show up authentically and receive care that honors their lived experience.

Who I Work With

I work with adults navigating life transitions, identity shifts, and the pressure to “figure it all out.” Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, understanding relational patterns and learning emotion regulation. I also enjoy working with LGBTQ+ individuals seeking a space where they feel affirmed, understood, and supported. Common concerns I help people work through include stress, anxiety, depression, low motivation, relationship challenges, and self‑esteem struggles. Together, we explore unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional regulation skills, and create sustainable change that aligns with your values and goals.

My Passion for Suicide Prevention

I’m deeply passionate about suicide prevention and intervention. Reducing stigma and shame around suicidality is central to my work, and I bring specialized training to both my clinical practice and the trainings and consultations I provide to teams and organizations.

My Core Mission

At the heart of my practice is a simple goal: to create a safe, affirming, and empowering space where you feel understood, supported, and capable of growth.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I’m not working, you can usually find me spending time with my two dogs, exploring Colorado’s hidden gems, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
